Peace, Love & Hervana-A Benefit Box O' Powder

If you read my blog, you know I am a huge fan of Benefit Cosmetics <3  They are high quality, have eye catching packaging, adorable product names, and most importantly, they are CRUELTY-FREE!!!
The Benefit Cosmetics box o' powders do not disappoint.  Many a makeup guru & beauty blogger swear by their infamous Hoola bronzer or Coralista blush.  I had the amazing opportunity of receiving their Hervana blush when they ran their Lash Bash promotion...You can read all about that here
First off let's talk about packaging...These boxes are all-inclusive.  They are hinged boxes made of a pretty durable cardboard with a mirror in the top and the actual blush on the bottom.  The brush sits in a little plastic removable tray that protects the blush from the brush moving around so in essence your blush lasts longer due to less wear & tear.
The brush itself is the perfect angled blush brush.  I do know that some of their other box o' powders come with a flat edge brush, but I prefer the angled version.  It is great for applying the blush perfectly onto the apples of the cheeks.
Hervana, described as a "orchid-blossom blush" is a lovely swirl of four shades: lucky shell, divine peach, heavenly rose, & berry delight.  If you start with the lightest color (lucky shell), the four colors are arranged clockwise and when swirled together produce the perfect "enlightened flush."  Swatched below you can see the blush is not a high drama color, but more of a subtle glow with just the slightest hint of shimmer.  Not only are the colors beautiful but the product has a very subtle, floral scent to it that really makes it a pleasure to apply.

Hervana can be used for day or night and at any age.  I actually think this is a great starter blush for teens as it is such a subtle, flush toned color.  Personally, I have worn it to the office, dinner with the hubby, girls' night with me friends, and for the regular everyday activities, such as shopping or running errands.
Which is your go-to blush???
